Put on your thinking caps!

Mighty Kind Issue 7: Inventions is all about creative problem solving. In this issue, we highlight the weird, wonderful, and clever ideas that help make our world a better place and the diverse people behind them. We’ve included an interview with biomedical engineer and storybook author Arlyne Simon, a graphic story about a couple of scrappy, innovative kids, an inside look at various STEAM fields, hands-on activities to help kids turn their own ideas into real working inventions and more!

Our big idea explores the concept of resilience with a lesson on positive self-talk and our country spotlight is England (where sewing machines were invented.) Each issue of Mighty Kind is filled with stories, fun facts, comics, activities, and ideas for how to put kindness into action! Explore all the ways inventions bring humanity together in this edition of Mighty Kind.
